International Patent Laws Committee
Issues arising out of differences in the patent laws and practices of countries outside the United States, including: (1) the rights of United States inventors (or their assignees) to obtain patent protection in other countries and the rights of foreign nationals to the benefit of United States laws; (2) the rights of United States producers to export patented products to foreign countries and the rights of foreign producers to import patented products into the United States; and (3) the international conventions and treaties involving patent rights, except as assigned to other committees; including cooperation with other committees and entities, such as the ABA Section of International Law.
