The In-House IP Committee functions as a platform for in-house members of the ABA IP Law Section to share views and engage in dialogue on issues faced by and unique to in-house practice, offering members the opportunity to obtain practice-specific information and guidance from fellow in-house practitioners, which includes corporate, university, government, and tech transfer practitioners. It also provides facilitation of the development and use of intellectual property law by universities and review and assessment of the impact of government policies, legislation and regulations on the ability of universities to engage in the transfer of technology.
