Smith reaffirmed in a letter to members published in the ABA Journal that the ABA continues to pursue Goal III of its mission, the commitment to eliminating bias and enhancing diversity within ABA and the legal profession. The letter highlights how the ABA House of Delegates adopted Resolution 402, which endorsed the New York State Bar Association’s recommendations for how to legally promote diversity following Students for Fair Admissions v.
