Asian Americans Continue to be Underrepresented in Federal Judiciary

The ABA Journal discusses a recent book and reports on Asian Americans’ progress in serving as federal judges.  While Asian Americans make up 7.7% of the U.S. population and 8.6% of lawyers in private practice, only 3.6% of Article III judges are Asian American, with the first woman appointed only in the late 1990’s.
