$1.7 Trillion Federal Government Spending Bill Becomes Law

On Dec. 23, 2022, President Biden signed into law the Consolidated Appropriations Act 2023. The law (H.R. 2617) includes partial relief from Medicare cuts; extension of value-based care bonus and Medicaid redetermination deadlines; two-year extensions of telehealth flexibilities, mental health policies, and the Acute Hospital Care at Home initiative; and extension for key rural hospital programs to outline a few.
