SSM Health and Saint Louis University recently announced an agreement to formally create an integrated healthcare network by shifting ownership of SLUCare Physician Group to SSM Health. Currently consisting of over 600 faculty and medical professionals in over 50 specialties, SLUCare’s integration with SSM will create a comprehensive medical group of over 1,200 academic and community-based providers. Pending regulatory approval, the agreement is expected to be finalized in the summer of 2022.
