Oklahoma Governor Signs into Law Texas-Inspired Ban on Abortions

The governor of Oklahoma signed into law a ban on abortions after six weeks.  The law includes civil enforcement penalties modeled after legislation passed in Texas by authorizing $10,000 in damages for individuals who perform, intend to perform, or aid or abet the performance of an abortion.
