Ex-nurse sentenced to probation in patient medication death

Former Tennessee nurse RaDonda Vaught was sentenced to three years probation, imposed by a state judge for a fatal medication error, after being found guilty in March of criminally negligent homicide and gross neglect of an impaired adult.. The patient’s death resulted from the nurse administering the wrong medication. After successfully completing probation, she will receive judicial diversion.
