User-Friendly Care Website Improves Veterans' Decision Making Regarding Their Health Care Appointments

Beginning July 19, Veterans Affairs (VA) updated its website that focuses on veterans’ access to care. The website, with incorporated feedback from veteran focus groups, allows veterans to manage their health care appointments. This website provides veterans with user-friendly access to finding providers, compares hospital data, and allows veterans to review wait times at VA medical facilities and even to view patient experiences. The improvements to this website help to advance the VA’s mission to ensure Veterans receive appropriate care.
