Orlando Health announced plans to acquire Medical Center Radiology Group (MCRG), located in Orlando, Florida. The planned transaction will become effective October 1, and will enhance Orlando Health’s delivery of medical imaging.
Orlando Health, a non-profit healthcare organization based in Orlando, Florida, includes Florida’s only pediatric and adult Level One trauma program, a GME program of over 350 residents and fellows, 10 hospitals, and 3,200+ beds across the system.MCRG, a currently independent physician group, comprises over 60 board-certified radiologists possessing subspecialized training in computed tomography, interventional radiology, musculoskeletal imaging, nuclear medicine, neuroradiology, abdominal imaging, women’s imaging, and pediatric radiology. Upon the completion of the acquisition, the MCRG physicians and staff will become Orlando Health team members.
