The Infection Prevention and Control Association (IPCA) launched August 30. The IPCA is a bipartisan association that will aid Congress, federal agencies, and other industry stakeholders in protecting senior citizens in long-term care (LTC) communities. Infection prevention control reform is critical to protect senior citizens, especially since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. CMS reported that more than 70% of LTC communities have been cited for infection control concerns.
