The ABA's 2021 National Managed Care Institute was held last week in Washington, D.C., following the Health Law Section’s annual Washington Health Law Summit. The Institute is in its second year and is dedicated to those whose practice primarily involves managed care, including in-house lawyers, government counsel and external counsel for MCOs and providers. The event, hosted by the ABA, and co-chaired by Kenneth White and David Ellenbogen, featured a host of experts speaking on matters related to the Pandemic, M&A activity, Antitrust, ADR, Price Transparency, Counsel Best Practices, Regulatory issues and other topics. Many of the speakers are leaders in the Managed Care and Insurance IG. National Managed Care Institute is already on the schedule for December 2022.
