Providing services to more than 117 million people, the huge, publicly-traded insurer, Anthem, Inc. announced Wednesday its plans to acquire Integra Managed Care. According to Anthem, the acquisition of Integra, a New York State LTC plan, “aligns with [its] goal of growing Anthem’s Medicaid business, while serving [its] members with a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.”
