ABA Panel Explores Extending and Expanding Pandemic Advances for Lawyers with Disabilities

On October 18, the ABA’s Commission on Disability Rights and Section of Civil Rights and Social Justice held a webinar on how lawyers with disabilities have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Panelists discussed how the move to virtual platforms during the pandemic has allowed lawyers with disabilities to overcome obstacles such as inadequate public transportation, and their desire to maintain and expand employers’ greater acceptance of remote work through raising awareness and optimizing the use of technology.  The topic is also profiled in the ABA Journal
