Consulting Firm Required to Pay Nearly $600 Million in Opioid Settlement to States

McKinsey & Company will pay nearly $600 million to settle opioid claims for their involvement in the creation of the opioid crisis. McKinsey will be required to pay upwards of $560 million over a four-year period to states to fund opioid treatment, prevention and programs and an additional $15 million to the National Association of Attorneys General for fees associated with investigation costs.
