In Recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the ABA Presents Free Cancer Rights Webinar
Attendees will gain an understanding of the rights afforded to cancer patients and caregivers at work and through their health insurance. As the states reopen, our panelists will examine the current changes to health insurance and employment, including new options for paid sick leave, paid family leave, and unemployment benefits. They will also explore how traditional workplace rights, including COBRA coverage, reasonable accommodations, and protected leave, apply in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The ABA Health Law Section Cancer Legal Advocacy Interest Group addresses the legal challenges facing people with cancer, their families, caregivers, and others. We provide education to help patients, lawyers, social works, medical professionals, and others identify the resources needed to address the complex legal issues associated with this debilitating disease.
In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month, we ask you to consider a charitable gift to support this and other good works of the Cancer Legal Advocacy Interest at http://ambar.org/donatehealth.
