With extended school closures and transition to virtual learning during the pandemic, parents juggle their own work and family responsibilities with the additional role of teacher. Researchers at the University of Virginia Curry School of Education and Human Development recommend carving out daily "banking time" or time for children to reset with an independent activity of their choosing. Banking time helps relieve the stress of added responsibilities to both parents and children.
