Two More Home-Health Employees Plead Guilty in Alleged $87 million Medicaid Fraud

On January 21, the DOJ announced that two employees of a Pittsburg home-health consulting company pleaded guilty to taking part in an $87 million fraud against the Pennsylvania Medicaid program. The employees admitted they billed Medicaid for millions of dollars in services that were never provided. The two fabricated time sheets to reflect the provision of in-home personal-assistance services that were never provided and arranged claim submissions to Medicaid in the name of “ghost” employees for services never provided.
