Partners HealthCare, an integrated non-profit health system founded by Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, announced a new collaboration with One Medical, a membership-based primary care platform, to improve care coordination and expand access to primary care in the Boston area while achieving cost reductions due to reduced administrative burdens. The parties plan to clinically and digitally integrate the primary care practitioners and specialists at the two organizations. One Medical currently operates two Boston locations, with new locations are planned for eastern Massachusetts in the next few years. The new sites will be known as One Medical with Mass General Brigham.
