Purdue Pharma, under fire for its contribution to the opioid epidemic, is selling naloxone through Mundipharma, an international affiliate. The foreign affiliate is utilizing some of the same advertising tactics that were used by Purdue to sell opioids to now sell a treatment for opioid overdoses. In court documents, the Sackler family, owners of Purdue Pharma, was shown to have a strong interest in making money from both pain treatment and addiction treatment, in a proposal they called Project Tango.
