Johnson & Johnson Reaches Tentative Settlement Agreement with Two Ohio Counties

A settlement was reached between Johnson & Johnson and two counties in Ohio. Johnson & Johnson has tentatively agreed to pay $20.4 million to Cuyahoga and Akron’s Summit Counties, removing them from the lawsuit. In the agreement, $5.4 million is set aside to fund programs to fight opioid addiction. The settlement is awaiting approval by a federal judge.
