Massachusetts Opioid Suit Heats up

State of Massachusetts’ attorneys held little back in the Boston courtroom against Purdue Pharma. In the state’s lawsuit against Purdue, Assistant AGSydenham Alexander III told the court that “one Massachusetts patient alone was worth $200,000 a year to Purdue.” Purdue attorneys urge that the state’s claims are misguided and could set a dangerous precedent if decided in favor of Massachusetts.
