Oklahoma Teva Case Settled

In a critical decision that addressed concerns about how opioid funds would be spent, Oklahoma officials have agreed that funds from an out-of-court settlement would be used solely to curb opioid abuse in the state, the Washington Post reported.  Oklahoma state judge Thad Balkman approved the $85 million settlement between the state and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries.
