Following a recent post in HLBytes reporting that Humana stated they have no interest in acquiring Centene, the Centene and WellCare merger talks continue. Some investors had ignored that statement and have given the merger their stamp of approval. This includes a nod of approval from Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS), a highly influential and widely trusted advisor. ISS noted that the two companies will complement one another, and the combination of the two will help grow their already existing portfolios.
