President and First Lady Melania Trump gave an update on their efforts to combat the opioid epidemic at a large event in Atlanta, saying his administration is making progress in battling the opioid epidemic. As reported, the President’s remarks, highlighting progress in the opioid epidemic and pressing the case for expanding the border wall, was met with skepticism by some attendees who were concerned about efforts to gut the ACA and Medicaid coverage for substance use services.
