Massachusetts General, Exeter Health, and Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Complete Definitive Agreement

Following up on the letter of intent signed in May 2018, Massachusetts General Hospital, Exeter Health Resources, and Wentworth-Douglass Hospital have completed their definitive affiliation agreement for the Seacoast health network.  The agreement, filed with the New Hampshire Charitable Trusts Unit, forms a regional, not-for-profit entity that will serve as the parent company of the Massachusetts General family, along with Exeter Health Resources and Wentworth-Douglass Hospital.  The agreement has been approved by the boards of the individual organizations and is now subject to regulatory review over the next several months.

Exeter Health Resources consists of the 100-bed Exeter Hospital, the Core Physicians multi-specialty group with over 140 physicians, and Rockingham Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice.  Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital in 2017, includes a 178-bed hospital, several urgent care facilities, and the multi-specialty group Wentworth Health Partners.
