The Health Law Section hosted an inspirational presentation from cancer survivor Michael Hill, a former D1 athlete, diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2011. In 2013, Mr. Hill received his last stem cell treatment from NIH and just recently celebrated his 10th year of being cancer free. Mr. Hill is now CEO and founder of DAWG (Desire. Attitude. Will. Grind) Culture, an athletic apparel brand with a focus on pushing through any of life’s challenges.
While in his role of CEO, Mr. Hill also speaks to and supports those going through cancer treatment. During this member meeting, Mike will describe his experience with cancer, his treatment, his mental health during and after treatment, and the effects a diagnosis and treatment can have on you and your family.
