Earlier this year, several foreign-born registered nurses filed a putative class action lawsuit against post-acute care services provider Pruitt health, Inc. and nurse staffing company Infinity Care Partners, LLC, claiming that the defendants conspired to exploit foreign nurses for cheaper labor and profit. The Complaint alleges violations of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act and the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, as well as state law claims of breach of contract and unjust enrichment. According to the case docket, the parties completed briefing on motions to dismiss and to compel arbitration on May 23, 2025, both of which remain pending with the court.
