We’re now accepting program proposals for the 24th Annual Washington Health Law Summit, taking place December 8–9, 2025, in Washington, D.C.

The Summit is a leading forum for healthcare lawyers to hear directly from government officials, industry leaders, and subject matter experts about the legal and regulatory developments shaping the healthcare sector. We invite proposals from individuals with experience and insight into the issues impacting healthcare providers, systems, and the broader range of organizations that support or enable care delivery, including those in digital health, technology, and other key segments of the industry.

We are especially interested in proposals that address:

  • Federal regulatory and enforcement priorities, including developments at HHS, CMS, OIG, FDA, and FTC
  • Medicare, Medicaid, and the future of value-based care models
  • Compliance risks under the False Claims Act, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute
  • Healthcare consolidation, M&A activity, and private equity involvement
  • Oversight of digital health, data privacy, and use of AI in care delivery
  • Policy initiatives focused on behavioral health, rural access, and social drivers of health

All proposals must be submitted using the online program proposal form . The deadline to submit is June 13, 2025. Proposals submitted by members of the ABA Health Law Section will receive priority consideration. Proposals sent by email will not be reviewed.

The ABA Health Law Section continually strives to increase the participation of women, people of diverse ethnicities, individuals with disabilities, and LGBTQ speakers in our programming. We also seek diversity in geographic location and practice setting. Please keep these priorities in mind when submitting your topic proposal. You may be contacted by the program planning committee with questions about your submission. Final selections will be communicated once the full agenda has been confirmed.

If you have questions about the process, please contact Danielle Daly, Associate Director, Programming, at [email protected]. We appreciate your interest and look forward to your submission.
