About MLP

MLPs function as a patient care team that includes medical, social services, and legal professionals through which an attorney is located at a health care facility to help the patient’s team address legal conditions that affect patient health. The MLP Work Group is also working with the ABA Veterans Legal Services Commission to establish MLPs at VA medical facilities to help address the myriad of legal problems that affect the health conditions of our country’s veterans.
