Once a quarter (prospectively October, January, April, July) all new HLS members who joined in that quarter will be invited to a live Zoom. The Zoom will be led by a member of the Membership Committee and a senior leader (Officer or Council Member preferably). A brief slide deck giving an overview of the HLS will be presented to start the meeting (topics to be included are: overview of the ABA, overview of the Section and its various Divisions, IGs & TFs, HLS resources and upcoming events, how the HLS can help you, your organization, and clients), but the majority of the meeting will be open discussion to foster connections and community. After the call, the leaders will reach out to the participants to reinforce the sense of community.
