What Leading Professionals are Saying

My legal career would not be what it is without my membership in the ABA Health Law Section. The friendships, generosity, and knowledge that I have developed through the Health Law Section first helped me establish a new practice area in healthcare when I was at a firm and now enrich my experience as a General Counsel. Additionally, involvement in Section leadership provides me with an opportunity to give back to others by hopefully continuing the same experience for others that I have enjoyed.

The first word that comes to mind when I think of the Health Law Section is "congeniality." As I work at a small consulting firm, having access to a community such as the Health Law Section has been an invaluable resource. Section members are so welcoming and kind, and they have been unfailingly gracious with their time and knowledge. Despite coming into the Section as a young lawyer, I have been consistently encouraged to speak up and contribute, and my ideas have been championed by fellow section members. The opportunity to work with experienced attorneys who are leaders in their field has given me an incredible amount of confidence in my professional life and has unquestionably helped me advance in my career.
