Lawyers young and old flock to conferences each year, whether to stay up-to-date on developments in the law, talk shop with the best and brightest, or network with colleagues. The ABA GPSolo Division itself holds a conference each fall and spring. But as productive as these conferences can be, they are not often cheap. Between flights, hotels, transportation, meals, and entertainment, attendees can spend hundreds or thousands of dollars. Fortunately, some of these expenses are deductible for federal income tax purposes:
