We are entering a new, all-digital era of GPSolo periodicals. GPSolo magazine is transitioning into a digital, bimonthly publication, while the GPSolo eReport remains a monthly source for current news and articles of interest to members. As we continue taking this valuable member benefit to new heights, we do so knowing where we came from, how we got here, and that, as Sir Isaac Newton pointed out, the path ahead is clearer and we see a little further by standing on the shoulders of Giants.

Standing on the Giant’s Shoulders: GPSolo eReport Has a Bright Future Ahead
By Ashley Hallene
Fresh out of law school, I found a warm welcome in the ABA Solo, Small Firm and General Practice Division. I began working right away on GPSolo magazine, and soon after on the GPSolo eReport, both of which were led by Editor-in-Chief Jeffrey Allen of Oakland, California. Jeff, along Substantive Law Subcommittee Chair/Deputy Editor James Schwartz; Practice Management Subcommittee Chairs/Deputy Editors Andrew C. Clark, Evan Loeffler, and Joshua Daley Paulin; Technology Subcommittee Chair/Deputy Editor Aviva Cuyler; and the entire Editorial Board were the giants who forged the eReport into the valuable resource it is today, focused, adaptive, and ready to keep members informed about what’s going on in their industry.
As the incoming Editor-in-Chief, I have big shoes to fill, but the future of the eReport is bright. On behalf of the GPSolo eReport Editorial Board, let me say that we are ready for the challenge and look forward to bringing you the latest news and ideas to improve your practice. We welcome you to reach out with feedback and suggestions.
Thank you, Jeff, for the journey to where we our now, and the opportunity that lies on the road ahead.
