The power of the written word constitutes one of the pillars of our profession. Its necessity is a constant from the start of a lawyer’s legal education through retirement. Whether you do litigation or transactions, or provide advice to your clients in memoranda or letters, you spend a good deal of time communicating in writing. If nothing else, good writing skills can help you market your practice (check out blogs or LinkedIn updates and you will see our point.)
