Macnotes

Jeffrey Allen

It’s that time of year again. Apple has announced the impending release of the new OS and the new iOS. Both represent some further evolution of the interfaces and the operating system. Both are now available in public beta (you pay nothing and take your chances, but you get to see what’s coming before the general public). Neither promises anything revolutionary; but both appear worth getting. (Heck, the price is right; they cost nothing!) Apple has also updated its existing line of computers and released a new model, simply called the “MacBook.” Undoubtedly in the next few months, we will learn of new iPads and iPhones, and perhaps updates to existing computer models.
