Most of you have likely heard that in the midst of the COVID-19 virus pandemic, the government expects us to stay home, not go to work, and not spread or contract the coronavirus. While I hesitate to use the term, it almost feels like house arrest. Having spent my life as a road warrior, I will confess to having a case of cabin fever after spending the last month sheltering in place. “One who works outside the office” is the definition I have always used for the road warrior attorney. As most of the country has gone on lockdown in order to limit the spread of the coronavirus, that means that virtually all of you have either gone on sabbatical or, using my definition, have become road warriors.
