Although I have written about technology and the law for many years, I have generally shied away from topics with political overtones in an effort to focus on the nuts and bolts of dealing with technology. In fact, I can count on one finger the number of times that I have addressed politics in my columns and articles for this magazine and its predecessors. That one time had to do with the question of net neutrality (“Revisiting Net Neutrality,” GPSolo July/August 2016, tinyurl.com/yd5wujtv). While I will now need a second finger for counting my articles that address political questions, I can still use one for the number of issues.
