The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) grants employment protection for qualified individuals with a disability. But how do addictions relate to the ADA? Particularly, do forms of compulsivity, such as addiction to the Internet or online gaming, qualify a person for ADA protection, and will the statute treat such compulsivity the same way it treats drug or alcohol addiction?
