Military veterans, National Guard members, and reserve service members have employment protections—including disability-related protections—under several national laws. These laws include the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA), and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
