A Note from GPSLD's Law Student Division Liaison

Thank you for stopping by the Government and Public Sector Lawyers Division (GPSLD) website! My name is Raven Moore and I attend the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. I am honored to serve as the Law Student Liaison to the GPSLD and I hope to use my advocacy, local government, and public interest experience to enrich this division and spread awareness about the resources that GPSLD provides to its members.

My mission is to help students interested in public sector and/or government work map a path to their success. I want to ensure that students have an opportunity to connect with attorneys that work in their desired field, have readily available information about the careers that fall under the government and public sector umbrella.

The GPSLD aims to provide students interested in public service with opportunities to network, win scholarships, find summer internships, and write publications for the American Bar Association. My mission as Student Liaison will be to empower law students seeking to pursue careers in the government or public sector.

If you are interested in government or public sector work, I encourage you to join and become an active member of GPSLD. As a member of GPSLD, you will have access to all of its membership resources, including publications, a mentorship program, an email discussion list, and the Public Lawyer Career Center. Please check the website regularly for details and be sure to join us on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to stay connected to GPSLD news.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at gpsld@americanbar.org.
