This brief presentation introduces Advance Orientation (AO) programming to family law professionals. More than fifty years of rigorous research in fields including medicine, nursing, dentistry, public health, and genetic screening have demonstrated that when consumers are oriented in advance of a service, they are likely to be more compliant and more satisfied with the service and the service is likely to be more efficient and more effective. Why aren’t we providing custody litigants with AO programming?
