Thirty years ago, legal scholars and social scientists began to note legal systems’ pervasive “credibility discounting” of women in general and victims of gender-based violence in particular. This Article builds upon the work done thus far and offers suggestions for ways to mitigate gender bias impacting IPV victims in family courts.
