Editor’s Note

By Kendra Huard Fershee

Here is our Fall issue of Family Law Quarterly, which is the culmination of years of work from a group of extremely distinguished authors and Uniform Law Commission reporters. Issues like these— that focus on the hard work of ULC commissioners dedicated to helping states improve the law for families—are important for all family law lawyers. They help us see the shape of the law as it is forming, anticipate potential changes that could affect our work, and allow us to have input in the process of legal formation. We at Family Law Quarterly are proud to provide this type of information to you in hopes that it will enrich your practice, scholarship, or ruling.

Family Law Quarterly has been a resource for many lawyers throughout the past several decades, and we hope it continues to be a prominent part of your library even as it has transitioned to electronic form. If there are topics you would like to see covered or if you have an article you think might be a good fit, please let me know. Meeting the needs of the family law community is our priority, so let us know what you need! You can reach me at my new email address, [email protected], with any ideas, thoughts, or questions you might have. Let’s work together to keep Family Law Quarterly working for you.

Best,

Kendra
