Editor’s Note

Kendra Huard Fershee, Editor in Chief

I write this Editor’s Note from a new office at a new law school in a new town. I have moved, as has Family Law Quarterly along with me, to Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska. My husband has started a new position as the dean of the law school, and I remain a professor of family law. We were sad to depart West Virginia University College of Law, but this opportunity has opened a number of professional possibilities for both of us, which is invigorating.

Family Law Quarterly, for the time being, will be a collaborative publication. A team of extremely capable students is working with their professor-advisor at WVU, and I am working with them remotely until a transition plan can be finalized. So, for now, FLQ continues to be based at WVU, but the hope is to move it to Creighton in the coming year. Stay tuned for more detail on that front!

My contact information has changed, so if you have thoughts you would like to share with me, please feel free to email me at [email protected]. I’d love to hear from you!

Best,

Kendra
