Fall 2017 CLE Conference was a Rocky Mountain High

Beautiful Beaver Creek Mountain, Colorado, was the site of the Family Law Section’s Fall CLE Conference held October 4–7, 2017, and it featured twenty-four hours of CLE credit. Numerous networking opportunities were enjoyed by 233 registrants and their guests during such gatherings as the Wednesday evening Welcome Reception, the BNY Mellon Wealth Management Thursday evening event, the Friday evening event at the 4 Eagle Ranch, and the bountiful breakfast buffets held each morning. A special work/life balance day was held on Wednesday, October 4, with sessions devoted to “Achieving Work/Life Balance Through Mindfulness, Health, Technology & More.”

Spring CLE Conference

The Section of Family Law will meet in red-hot Nashville this May. This is going to be a week you won’t want to miss! There will be a special international family law and ART law day on Wednesday, May 9, followed by another three days of CLE that will feature sessions such as “Hot Tips,” “Dealing with Difficult Opposing Counsel and Difficult Clients,” “Relocation/UCCJEA Issues,” and much more. Bring your cowboy boots and get ready to two-step during our Friday evening event at Nashville hotspot “Wildhorse Saloon.”

32nd Annual Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute
July 14-20, 2018

Become a more effective trial lawyer  by investing  seven  days  in yourself  and your professional expertise. Build yourself-assurance by mastering skills and techniques needed for success at trial.

The Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute instructors include seasoned trial lawyers, financial experts, and psychological experts. Participants work in groups of six to eight in a simulated courtroom environment. Many exercises are recorded and then reviewed in a one-on-one session with an instructor. Experience the cutting edge of advocacy education from those who developed the process. The program is intensive and fast- paced and provides years of trial experience in a week’s time.
