  • Partnership for Public Service Political Appointee Tracker
    The Partnership for Public Service’s Center for Presidential Transition (the “Center”), founded in 2008, is a nonpartisan source of presidential transition information. The Center’s Presidential Transition Guide serves as a roadmap for transition planning, and its  Agency Transition Guide  helps career officials prepare critical information for incoming senior leaders. The Center assembled a library of past transition documents and offers a series of nonpartisan conferences and roundtable discussions for candidates and their transition teams. The website offers a blog, reports, a podcast and videos regarding the transition process. The Center launched the Political Appointee Tracker with The Washington Post in 2016. The Political Appointee Tracker does not have a paywall.
  • The New York Times: Tracking Trump’s Cabinet Confirmations
    The New York Times is a daily newspaper based in New York City and reports on domestic, national, and international news. It is tracking President Trump's Cabinet confirmations. There is paywall to access the tracker.
  • The Washington Post
    The Washington Post is a daily newspaper and news organization based in Washington D.C. that covers national politics and current events. It is tracking Trump’s Cabinet appointees. There is a paywall to access the tracker.

  • Harvard Law School: regulatory tracker on clean energy deployment and environmental protection
    Harvard Law School’s tracker explains the regulatory steps to advance clean energy deployment and environmental protection, and provides an up-to-date and concise summary of both regulatory and litigation actions.
  • GovTrack
    This site tracks the activities of the United States Congress to help Americans be the best advocates for the issues they care about and to create a more open and accountable government. This particular page tracks bills in the U.S. Congress related to the subject of environmental protection, as determined by the Library of Congress.
  • The Brookings Center
    The Brookings Center on Regulation and Markets Regulatory Tracker provides background information and status updates on a curated selection of particularly important regulatory changes. The list can be filtered for different subjects, including environment and by the nature of the activity (e.g. rulemaking, executive order, guidance, etc.).
  • Legiscan
    Legiscan provides updates on pending legislation and can be filtered by a variety of different inputs. Some functionality of the site requires payment.
  • Environmental and Energy Study Institute
    Every week, the Environmental and Energy Study Institute provides a legislative tracker that lists the environmental and energy bills introduced and passed by Congress, as well as the relevant hearings held by committees.
  • Ecological Society of America
    The Ecological Society of America racks legislation relevant to the ecological community. This legislative tracker can be sorted by sponsor, committee, status, and more.
  • The Washington Post
    The Washington Post tracks environmental actions of the current administration. A subscription to The Washington Post is required to access.
  • The George Washington University: Regulation Digest
    George Washington University’s Regulation Digest is a weekly compendium of regulatory policy, news, and analysis, including environmental issue
