With the beginning of the 2023–24 ABA year, we are pleased to announce the implementation of the Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources’ (SEER) new committee structure. The leaders of SEER have invested significant effort and thought into the process of renaming and merging committees; their aim is to capture the dynamic and evolving landscape of environmental, energy, and natural resources law, ensuring that the names of our committees resonate with the multifaceted nature of the legal domains they encompass. Some new committee names include Energy; Biodiversity; Indigenous Law; Project Development; Food and Agriculture; and Environmental, Social, Governance, and Sustainability.
By signing up to receive emails from one or, ideally, several SEER committees, you open the door to comprehensive and up-to-date information tailored precisely to your preferences and curiosities within the realm of environmental, energy, and natural resources law. Signing up to receive updates from a SEER committee comes without any binding obligations—committee communications will shed light on an array of growth opportunities and facilitate meaningful connections with fellow SEER members who share your specific areas of interest.
We invite you to stay effortlessly informed about the most recent developments, insightful case summaries on intricate legal nuances, breaking news, and timely notifications that keep you ahead of the curve. Check out the lineup of SEER committees to learn more about what each has to offer. The opportunity to receive information and updates from a committee at no additional cost stands as one of the greatest benefits extended to SEER members.
Stay informed, engaged, and inspired as you connect with like-minded individuals who are as dedicated to their fields as you are. Sign up for committee communications today!
