Brent Fewell has co-founded the Water Finance Exchange, a nonprofit company to develop and fund community-based water projects, including water supply, wastewater disposal, and stormwater management. The company’s goal is to combine public and private financing with philanthropic funding to support communities develop safe and sustainable water and wastewater systems. Fewell is also the founding chair of Earth and Water Law, a Washington, D.C.–based law firm. Additionally, he co-chairs the Water Ad Hoc Group, which includes all national water and wastewater associations, that works to increase the sustainability and resilience of U.S. water utilities.
