Sherrie A. Armstrong has joined Thomas Combs & Spann in Charleston, West Virginia. Armstrong was previously with Crowell & Moring in Washington, D.C. Her practice includes product liability defense, environmental litigation and regulatory counseling, appellate practice, and general civil litigation. Armstrong has experience with environmental statutes, including, inter alia, the Clean Air Act, the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act, the Endangered Species Act, the Clean Water Act, and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act. She also provides clients with compliance and risk counseling, including counseling on the evolving science concerning diesel exhaust and EPA’s new coal ash disposal rule, and environmental due diligence.
